I hate Big Brother. The TV show, that is. My father runs multiple websites dealing with the show, and my older brother has fallen in love with it. It all drives me crazy.

Wow

It's 1:18 A.M. and I'm listening to marching band music. FML.

I am pissed.

As the title implies, I am freaking pissed off. I've spent all day painting my room, which is tiring and stressful. As I go to check facebook before bed, I have a message informing me that I don't have my end of summer job because I didn't tell the person in charge that I wanted to work. I was actually assured at the end of last year that I would have a spot this year, by the person who's saying I do not's boss. Now, I'm not super worried about not having the job because it takes care of some stress, I'm pissed that this girl, who I'm not the biggest fan off, now thinks I felt I was entitled to the job and didn't feel I needed to go through the proper channels to get it. Hermes freaking boss told me I had a job. I'm pissed and tired and just frustrated. People anger me.

Music Stress

I have to memorize 4 pieces for marching band by Monday. I need to double my note range on the trombone by September. I have to learn an out-of-my-league arrangement of the wedding march for my cousin's wedding. I also need to re-learn my solo and ensemble music for an audition. I'm stressed.

6. Facebook (I wish I could delete you)
7. Sh***ndoah FFA (Stop winning everything)
8. Living in a red state (it needed to be repeated)
9. Idiots who don't realize they're idiots (refer to macbook guy above)
10. Not having someone to tell all this (but that's why this blog exists)

There is plenty more where that came from.

I have a lot on my mind this afternoon. So I did what I do best when I have many thoughts, I cleaned. For some reason, I feel the need to run away from my thoughts, so I started cleaning. I started with the dishes, then moved onto the whole kitchen. After that, I picked up the living room. I then scrubbed the hall bathroom. I finished it all off with my bedroom. Now I have nothing to clean. So I decided to write this post. Now I'm going to have to go face all of those thoughts...

Concert Band

First off, I'd like to say I realize that is a marching band picture. I have no pictures of our concert band, saw this one on facebook and thought "eh, good enough". Tonight was our spring band concert, and it was finally awesome. We've spent the last four years rebuilding the band program out of nothing. The cursed band director position had never been held for more than two years at a time, until good old Mr. Sterk. He has made our band into something special. Just look at that picture, two trumpet players upside down. Isn't that great? I mean sure, we totally stole it from the Cavaliers drum corps, but our mascot is the Cavalier, so we just borrowed it from ourselves. Our concert was great, the applause was actually meaningful. It was also our awards night, and I took home outstanding freshman. Yay me. I'm also a "scholar musician" for being in the top five of my class. It was a fun night, and I look forward for my upcoming year in band. It's gonna be a good one!
